(Edina, MN) RIFE Putters continues to be a major presence on the LPGA Tour with 8 putters in play at this past weeks Women's U.S. Open. Kelli Kuehne (Barbados,) Candy Hannemann (Mr. Beasley,) Katherine Hull (Pink Hybrid,) Shanshan Feng (Mr. Beasley,) Moira Dunn (Antigua,) Wendy Doolan (Barbados,) Jeanne Cho-Hunicke (Aussie,) and Jamie Fischer (Barbados) all had a RIFE in the bag with Katherine leading the way finishing tied for 42nd. That makes a combined total of 15 putters in play between the Men's and Women's U.S. Opens including a RIFE Staff Bag carried by a player in each.

Side note: Moira Dunn became the first player in Major Championship History to carry a RIFE Staff Bag in The Women's U.S. Open. Moira is a past champion and a 14-year veteran of the LPGA Tour that continues to support RIFE Putters without being paid a dime. On behalf of everyone at RIFE Putters we would like to thank Moira for her loyalty and offer our undying support.
Driscoll and Pappas both make the cut at The Buick Open

(Grand Blanc, MI) James Driscoll (Mr. Beasley) and Brendan Pappas (Hybrid Mallet) both made the cut this past week at The Buick Open on the PGA Tour. Driscoll has used a RIFE in all 16 of his events this year and Pappas was the first player to use the new 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet on the PGA Tour. Pappas was introduced to the 2 Bar Hybrid on The Nationwide Tour were both he and Driscoll graduated from a year ago. RIFE Putters wins Big East Championship

(Hebron, KY) It was just brought to our attention that early last month Ted Gray used his 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet to win The Big East Conference Title and lead the Marquette Golden Eagles to The NCAA Championship. It was the schools first conference championship in any sport. Ted just graduated and will be turning professional at the end of the summer. He recently contacted the Tour Department at RIFE Putters and had this to say “RIFE Putters have improved my putting and given me the confidence to take my game to the next level. This victory has changed my life and I owe a lot to RIFE because there is no way I could of done it without the 2-Bar Hybrid.” Ted will be heading down to Scottsdale, AZ to start playing The Gateway Tour and everyone at RIFE Putters would like to wish him all the best.
Hitchcock continues to tear up Moonlight Tour

(Orlando, FL) Some players have a tough time making the jump from college to professional when you add money into the equation. Tyler Hitchcock (2 Bar Hybrid Blade) is not having that problem. Since graduating from South Florida Hitchcock has been tearing up The Moonlight Tour in Orlando with 2 victories and a scoring average of 69.7. Earlier last week he won an event at Orange Tree and followed it up with 2nd and 3rd place finishes at Hunter's Creek and Magnolia Plantation taking home just over $1,400. Tyler had an impressive career as an amateur qualifying for 2 U.S. Am and the U.S. Public Links. Earlier this month he missed a spot in the U.S. Open by 1 shot.

Capps shoots course record 62 at The Grand Club

(Palm Coast, FL) Ty Capps rolled his RIFE Aussie to a course record 62 (-10) at The Pine Course at The Grand Club earlier this week, destroying the previous record of 66. Ty currently plays on the Adams Tight Lie Tour and was introduced to RIFE Putters by Head Golf Professional Luke Dettering after struggling a bit with his putting. Since then he has worked with Nationwide Tour Rep Pat Sellers and been to RIFE's V1 Putting Studio in Florida.
Moira rolled her Antigua to consistent rounds of 71-71-71-72 = 285 (-3) finishing tied for 28th and taking home $15,835. She missed the cut in the first event of the year by one stroke and has since made 10 cuts in her last 13 events. Moira takes her game to Interlachen CC this week were she will become the first player to carry a RIFE Staff Bag in The U.S. Women's Open. RIFE had 7 players qualify for the Women's Open this year and 7 total putters in play at this week at The Wegmans LPGA Championship.

Hess wins North & South Senior Amateur

(Pinehurst, NC) Veterinarian Dr. Robert Hess put the competition to sleep this past weekend at the 57th Annual North & South Senior Amateur Championship. The good Doctor rolled his RIFE 2 Bar Blade to rounds of 68-72-69 = 209 (-7) and coasted to an 8 shot victory. Doc has had the 2 Bar Blade in the bag for quite some time and recently had the chance to stop by the RIFE V1 Putting Studio right before his trip to historic Pinehurst # 2. After working with CEO Jim Barfield, Doc had Mike Kelly in The Tour Department put more of an offset shaft in his putter as well as new BIG Lite grip installed by Tour Rep Ed Roge. These minor changes along with a clinic of solid ball striking lead Dr. Hess to a place he is very familiar with, the winner's circle. Dr. Hess is a multiple Champion of the Orlando City Amateur as well as The Pat Neel Invitational.

Hume finishes Top Ten at The Florida State Amateur Championship

(Tequesta, FL) Tim Hume rolled his RIFE 2 Bar Hybrid to a Top 10 finish at The 91st Annual Florida State Amateur Championship at Jupiter Hills. Tim, commonly referred to by his friends as “Humor” shot rounds of 76-68-73-76 = 293 (+5.) His 68 (-4) on Friday included 7 birdies and was the low round of the day. Earlier this year Tim was the first player to record a victory with the new 2 Bar Hybrid Blade when he won The Ocala Invitational. Also playing well this week was Giwon Suh who started off with an opening round 70 (-2) and finished inside the top 20. Giwon came down to the RIFE V1 Putting Studio on Monday and had Mike Kelly in the Tour Department make him a 2 Bar Mallet with a BIG Lite grip that was installed by Tour Rep Ed Roge. Martina shot rounds of 72-73-69-70 = 214 (-4) and took home over $6,000 for her efforts. Stephanie was equipped with a RIFE 2 Bar Hybrid Belly Putter that she recently received from RIFE Rep Joey Sakaue and it has improved her putting tremendously. Since switching to a RIFE Putter she has dropped 4-5 strokes off her putting per round and it has been a big reason for her recent success.

Munoz breaks through for first professional win

(Lakeland, FL) Debbie Munoz rolled her RIFE 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet all the way to her first Professional victory on The SunCoast Series this past week. It was the 2nd win in a row for RIFE Putters on the SunCoast Series and the 5th of the year. Debbie is a Class A PGA Professional at The Old Course at Broken Sound in Boca Raton, FL and she received her 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet directly from our CEO/Champions Tour Rep Jim Barfield at the Allianz Championship. It hasn't left Debbie's bag since and doesn't look like it will be going anywhere anytime soon either.

Hitchcock shoots 66 (-6) at Forest Lake

(Ocoee, FL) After missing the U.S. Open by a single shot Tyler Hitchcock (2 Bar Hybrid Blade) took his frustration out on Forest Lake GC shooting 66 (-6) on his way to taking home the first place check at Monday's Moonlight Tour Event. Tyler followed that up a few days later with a 69 (-3) at Black Bear and finished 2nd. Also playing well on the Moonlight Tour has been Jim Troy (Antigua) and Phil Eich (Black Aussie.)
RIFE puts 7 putters in play at The U.S. Open

(San Diego, CA) RIFE Putters is becoming well accustomed to being a major player in Major Championship golf with 7 putters in play this past week in The U.S. Open at Torrey Pines. Justin Rose (Barbados,) J.B. Holmes (Barbados,) Andres Romero (Black Aussie,) Ian Poulter (Antigua,) Matt Kuchar (Mr. Beasley,) Joey Lamielle (Black Aussie,) an Andrew Svoboda (Antigua) all had a RIFE in the bag with Romero leading the way finishing inside the top 40.

Side note: This week Joey Lamielle became the first player in Major Championship History to carry a RIFE Staff bag in the United States Open. Joey passed up the chance of taking a big paycheck from another company to carry their bag and carried a RIFE bag simply out of respect. On behalf of everyone at RIFE Putters we would like to take this time to thank Joey for his loyalty and offer our undying support.

7 Women qualify for the U.S. Open with a RIFE

(Rockville, MD) It looks like RIFE Putters will be well represented in this years United States Women's Open after seeing 7 players get through Section Qualifying. Kelli Kuehne (Barbados,) Wendy Doolan (Barbados,) Moira Dunn (Antigua,) Candy Hanneman (Mr. Beasley,) Jeanne Cho-Hunicke (Aussie,) Shanshan Feng (Mr. Beasley,) and Katherine Hull (Hybrid Mallet) all punched their tickets to Interlachen CC for the 62nd Annual United States Women's Open June 26 - 29th.

Side note: Moira Dunn will become the first player in Major Championship History to carry a RIFE Staff Bag in The United States Women's Open. This marks the first time that RIFE putters will have a staff bag carried by a player in both the U.S. Men's and U.S. Women's Open in the same year.

RIFE Putters continues to dominate Hooters Tour

(Bentonville, AR) RIFE Putters continued its dominance of The Hooters Tour this past weekend with 3 of the top 7 players in the field at The Daisy Classic using a RIFE. Ian Hessels (Barbados) shot the low round of the day on Friday with a 64 (-7) on his way to a 7th place finish and a check for $5,849 smackaroos. RIFE had over 27 putters in play with 12 of those players making the cut.

Boo gets RIFE another win on The SunCoast Series

(Orlando, FL) RIFE Putters got its 4th win of the year on The SunCoast Series this past week with Benedikte “Boo” Grotvedt firing rounds of 77-71-72 = 220 at Eastwood Country Club. After an opening round 77, Boo came down to the RIFE V1 Putting Studio in Sanford to "get control of her roll" and went on to roll her way right to the winners circle Thursday afternoon. Boo had this to say after her victory “I went down to the RIFE Studio after my first round and got to see my stroke from all different angles. They put a putter in my hand that fit my stroke and I left there knowing I had the right putter and the rest was up to me. I hit the ball solid after some swing changes and I felt really good on the greens.” Boo has won 5 times on the SunCoast Series and looks to be one of the next up and coming stars of the LPGA.

Martina Eberl finishes 4th at Portugal Ladies Open

(Algarve, Portugal) RIFE Putters continues to be a major presence overseas on The European LPGA Tour with 6 putters in play and 3 players making the cut to the weekend at The Portugal Ladies Open.
4 players punch their ticket to Torrey Pines

(San Diego, CA) With U.S. Open Sectional Qualifying coming to a close this past week RIFE Putters saw 4 of its players earn their spot into the 108th United States Open Championship. Bobby Collins (Barbados,) Chris Devlin (2 Bar Blade,) Joey Lamielle (Black Aussie,) and Matt Kuchar (Barbados) all punched their tickets to Torrey Pines through Sectional Qualifying to go along with Justin Rose (Barbados,) and Andres Romero (Barbados) who are exempt due to their World Rankings. Ted Potter (Aussie,) Rod Perry (Barbados,) and Tyler Hitchcock (2 Bar Hybrid Blade) all narrowly missed getting into the field but did earn alternate spots should anyone pull out. All of these players, with the exception of Romero, have been down to the V1 Putting Studio at Corporate HDQ and RIFE Putters would like to wish them all the best of luck along their journey toward golf's greatest prize, The United States Open Championship.

RIFE puts 9 in play at The LPGA Championship

(Havre de Grace, MD) What would a Major Championship weekend be without RIFE Putters? The McDonalds LPGA Championship saw 9 RIFE Putters in play and 5 of them making the cut to the weekend. Keep in mind that RIFE does not pay a single player on any Tour and doesn't even have a rep on The LPGA. To think that 9 of the best women players in the world would choose to put a RIFE Putter in the bag completely on their own is truly remarkable an absolutely unheard of in the industry during this day and age. Moira Dunn (Antigua,) Candy Hanneman (Mr. Beez,) Wendy Doolan (Barbados,) Kelli Kuehne (Barbados,) and Shanshan Feng (Mr. Beez,) all made the cut to play the final 2 rounds with Keli leading the way and finishing tied for 6th. Kelli rolled her Barbados to rounds of 69-70-71-70 = 280 (-8) and collect $53,763 for her efforts. It was a week in which Kelli needed only 114 putts.

Side note: Moira Dunn became the first player in Major Championship History to carry a RIFE Staff Bag. As always RIFE does not pay a single player to use or endorse their products. Also, Johanna Head shot an opening round 72 (even) before having to withdraw due to illness. RIFE Putters wishes her a speedy recovery.

Rodgers Monday Qualifies for Stanford St. Jude Championship

(Memphis, TN) Chris Rodgers rolled his RIFE Aussie Black to a round of 65 (-7) and a spot in this weeks Stanford St. Jude Championship on the PGA Tour. Fred Funk (Barbados,) Richard S. Johnson (2 Bar Mallet,) Brenden Pappas (2 Bar Hybrid,) Paul Claxton (Aussie,) Tommy “2 Gloves” Gainey (Aussie,) and Rodgers all had a RIFE in the bag. Not bad for a little company from Sanford, FL that doesn't pay a single player on any Tour. Except for Sunday afternoons that is.

Blakefield shoots 63 to Monday Qualify for Rex Hospital Open

(Raleigh, NC) Fresh off his first professional victory 2 weeks ago at the ADI Classic, Mark Blakefield (Barbados) continued his hot streak by shooting 63 (-9) and earned a spot in the Rex Hospital Open on The Nationwide Tour. RIFE Putters had 9 players with a RIFE in the bag this week including Leading Money Winner David Mathis (Black Aussie.)

Dana Lacey finishes T10 at AMRO Ladies Open

(Eindhoven, The Netherlands) Dana Lacey rolled her RIFE 2 Bar Mallet to another Top Ten finish on the European LPGA Tour this week. Dana shot rounds of 73-67-71 = 211 (-5) to finish T10 at the AMRO Ladies Open and take home 4,481 euros. Dana is a former South Australian Open Champion who was medalist at the 2008 European LPGA Qualifying Tournament.

Hughes wins on the Moonlight Tour

(Orlando, FL) The “Little Engine that could” known as Austin Hughes rolled his RIFE Mr. Beasley to a round of 69 (-3) at Rock Springs Ridge to win a Moonlight Tour Event and take home 1st place prize money. Austin can be found on any given day hanging around the Tour Department at RIFE Putters. Austin is a great player that has Monday Qualified for a Nationwide Tour Event and won over 10 times on the Moonlight Tour. Austin shot 70 (-2) in U.S. Open Local Qualifying to miss it by one shot.
